A resin detail set in 1:48 scale for plastic models of the F-15 fighter. It is not a standalone airplane kit but a set of parts representing the LAU-128 launcher rails and the ADU-552 adapters with which missiles are attached to the underwing pylons. The manufacturer is the Ukrainian brand Metallic Details.
The LAU-128 is the standard rail launcher for air-to-air missiles used on the F-15; the ADU-552 adapter forms the link between the wing pylon and the rail. A faithful rendering of these parts sharpens the external stores of a model considerably.
The resin parts replace the simplified plastic rails with a finer and more accurate rendering. Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; the fine detail stands out once picked out with a dark wash.
This is an aftermarket accessory. The base model, the missiles, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
