A resin detailing set from the Reskit brand intended for models of the Lockheed-Martin F-16C in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a faithful replica of the exhaust nozzle of the Pratt & Whitney F100 engine in the open, that is spread position, as corresponds to a machine standing still or an engine at idle. It replaces the simplified part of the base model and contains finely cast inner and outer nozzle petals.
The rear nozzle is one of the most closely watched details of a jet aircraft. A resin replacement with faithful geometry and thin petal edges markedly raises the realism of the rear of a model. The open position suits dioramas and machines captured on the ground.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend painting in metallic and heat-tinted shades, with the petals brought out by a wash and pigments.
