1:48 Lockheed-Martin F-35A Lightning II ejection seat is a replacement ejection seat for a model of the American fifth-generation fighter in the version with a conventional take-off.
Responsibility details are not available.
A replacement for the seat from the kit, thanks to which the cockpit of the modern fighter gains more plausible definition. Version A is the land-based variant with conventional take-off and landing, that is, the most widespread one. The package holds an accessory for the cockpit, not a model of the aircraft.
The Lightning II is a single-engine multirole combat aircraft built with the emphasis on a reduced radar signature and on the sharing of data between machines and ground elements. It is produced in three branches that differ in the method of take-off, and version A is the lightest of them, because it carries neither a lift fan nor equipment for landing on a deck. The pilot sits under a one-piece canopy with an excellent field of view and instead of a conventional head-up display he has the data projected directly into the visor of his helmet. The seat is therefore conspicuously visible in these cockpits and an inaccurate shape of it can bring down an otherwise successful model.
Always seat the seat dry first and check that there is enough room left once the canopy is lowered, because the cockpit of the F-35A is fairly tight. Plan the shade of the padding and the belts in advance, so that you do not end up repainting a part already glued in. The small handles will take being drawn in with a thin brush right at the end.
