This is a set of color pre-printed photo-etched seat belts in thin steel, not a kit. The STEEL range from the Czech firm Eduard replaces brass with a more flexible steel sheet, so the modern multi-point belts of an ejection seat look more delicate and more natural in 1:48 scale.
The set concentrates on the safety belts of the pilot of the F-35A Lightning II fifth-generation fighter. It replaces flat plastic or decal belts with three-dimensional metal parts with realistic fittings that bring the cramped space of a cockpit to life.
Separate the belts from the fret, shape them with tweezers into a natural sag and bond them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. Handle the color print gently; the belts are not painted.
The photo-etched belts are an accessory. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
