The combined package 1:48 Macchi MC.200 from the Big Ed range brings together several separately sold Eduard accessory sets for the Italian Saetta fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft kit but a bundle of accessory goods for 1:48 scale. The Big Ed range works by the manufacturer bringing several of its otherwise separately offered sets for one type of aircraft together into one item and selling them together. The parts serve to finish a plastic Macchi C.200 model you have already obtained; the package does not hold the base kit, the glue or the paints.
The Macchi C.200 Saetta was an Italian all-metal fighter monoplane with a Fiat A.74 radial engine. It entered service with the Regia Aeronautica at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s and became one of the most widespread Italian fighters of the Second World War. It fought over the Mediterranean, in North Africa and on the Eastern Front. The raised nose with the cowling over the radial is striking, and during production the arrangement of the crew station changed from open to enclosed.
The metal parts are cut out of the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface, and the bends come out more accurately in a simple bending jig. Degrease the surfaces before painting and go over them with a thin coat of base, otherwise the paint will hold poorly. The smallest components are best attached with cyanoacrylate glue applied on the head of a pin, and on larger areas a thicker gel version helps, as it gives time to line things up.
