An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Mil Mi-24P attack helicopter in 1:72 scale. The model is assembled and painted and makes a kit that builds well even without extras. The boxing is meant for building a classic plastic model of the helicopter.
The Mi-24 is a heavy attack helicopter able to carry both heavy armament and troops. The P version differs from the standard one in that, instead of a turreted machine gun, it carried a fixed twin-barrel cannon on the starboard side of the fuselage, meant for destroying ground targets and lightly armored vehicles. The type became one of the best-known attack helicopters of its era.
Finish the cockpit before closing up the fuselage, and bond the clear parts with canopy glue so that they do not go cloudy. Use a liquid plastic cement on the joints. Prime the surfaces and paint them with an airbrush; decals bed down better on a gloss varnish, and a flat overcoat evens out the surface. Leave the rotors free to turn until the painting is finished.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
