About product

Martin-Baker Mk. 10A ejection seat - Panavia Tornado 1:48 - RESArm

A separate resin seat produced by 3D printing, faithfully capturing the Martin-Baker Mk. 10A ejection seat used in the Panavia Tornado. This is not an airplane model but a detailed cockpit accessory. The finely rendered seat belts, handles and mechanism save the laborious assembly of photo-etched parts.

The real subject

The Panavia Tornado is a European multirole combat aircraft with variable-geometry wings, in service since the late 1970s in both strike and fighter versions. The Martin-Baker Mk. 10A series seat is one of the modern zero-zero ejection seats that allow the crew to leave the machine even on the ground.

Usage tips

Wash the part to remove uncured print resin residue, cut away the print supports and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer coat, a base color and subsequent shading with a wash to bring out the belts and handles are recommended.

Who it is for

  • builders of the Tornado in 1:48 scale
  • modelers who want an accurate cockpit without photo-etched parts
  • anyone interested in a quick interior upgrade

This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package.
