A set of 3D-printed resin fin caps for models of the F-4B Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale. The PRINT range from Eduard uses direct 3D printing, which renders the shape and the small details more crisply than injection-molded plastic.
The fin caps make up the top and the leading part of the fin, where the dielectric antenna covers sit. Precisely shaped parts improve the silhouette of the tail and save filling and sanding; decals are usually included as well. It is an accessory, not an aircraft model.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, clean them up and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease before painting; apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and put the decals on a gloss surface.
It is supplied as a 3D-printed detail set; paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
