About product

MASTER 1:48 Me-163A Komet armament set (MG 151 barrel tips) and pitot tube

A set of turned metal parts from the Polish manufacturer MASTER for models of the German Me-163 Komet rocket fighter in 1:48 scale. It holds turned MG 151 barrel tips and a pitot tube. It is not an aircraft kit but a set of metal detail components.

The real subject

The Me-163 Komet was a German rocket-powered fighter of the end of the Second World War, exceptional for its small tailless layout. Fine gun muzzles and a forward tube in metal look far more faithful than in plastic.

Fitting and use

  • Drill out the original plastic parts and glue the metal components in with super glue.
  • The metal gun muzzles have cleanly turned bores and sharp edges.
  • The surface can be chemically blackened before painting.

Who the parts are for

  • Modelers building the Me-163 with an emphasis on faithful armament detail.
  • Those who want a durable and precise replacement for plastic parts.

These are separate metal detail parts, not a complete model. The aircraft, glue and paints are not included in the package.
