An injection-molded plastic kit of the reconnaissance version of the German jet aircraft Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a/U3 in 1:48 scale from the Hobby Boss brand. The model has a finely engraved structure of panels and rivets, a well worked out cockpit and a revised nose with bays for photographic equipment, and metal parts for the nose landing gear.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first series-produced jet fighter aircraft in the world, used at the end of the Second World War. The A-1a/U3 version was the reconnaissance form with cameras housed in the nose. This twin-engine machine with swept wings represented a great technological leap over the piston-engine aircraft of the day.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the metal landing gear parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the cockpit and the bays before closing the fuselage. The late German camouflage with mottling will stand out with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
