Responsibility details are not available.
A resin engine set in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Aires, a specialist in aircraft detail accessories. The set faithfully captures the powerplant of the Me 262A Schwalbe jet fighter and serves to raise the detail of a plastic kit. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified kit parts with a faithfully worked turbojet and its installation in the nacelle. The package is usually rounded off with fine photo-etched parts.
The Messerschmitt Me 262A Schwalbe was the first jet fighter in the world to enter service in quantity. It was powered by two Junkers Jumo 004 turbojets slung in nacelles under the wings. The machine stood out for its high speed for the day and marked a technological watershed at the close of the Second World War.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the fit with your particular kit before closing the nacelle. It is advisable to spray the engine in metallic shades and pick out the details with a dark wash.
The resin set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which is not included in the package. Glue, paints and the model itself are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
