Double injection-molded plastic kit Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-1 and E-3 Legion Condor in 1:48 scale from Wingsy Kits, two models in one box.
Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters of the Emil series in 1:48 scale from Wingsy Kits. This box is a double set: it contains parts for two models, the E-1 and the E-3 versions, with markings of machines of the German Condor Legion from the period of the Spanish Civil War. The kit is distinguished by fine engraved texture, photo-etched parts and vinyl masks for the glazing. Check the actual contents and the number of decal options against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Bf 109 Emil was the basic version of the famous German fighter at the beginning of the Second World War. The E-1 version carried machine gun armament and the E-3 added wing cannons. The Condor Legion was a German volunteer unit fighting in the Spanish Civil War, where the first Emils went through combat and gained experience that was used later. The machines were powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 601 inverted V12 engine.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and attach the fine photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the cockpit interior and bring out its detail before you close the fuselage; the vinyl masks make it easier to paint the glazing frames cleanly. Spanish schemes were usually in gray-green shades with prominent markings; after the clear coat and the decals, pick out the panel lines with a wash and add fine wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
