Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is the Weekend edition, that is quality plastic and decals without the extended set of photo-etch and masks. The boxing focuses on machines built at the Wiener Neustädter Flugzeugwerke (WNF) and at the Diana works.
The Bf 109G-10 was one of the last and most capable production versions of the famous German fighter. It was powered by the supercharged DB 605 engine and the machine was marked by a lightened nose, an improved clear-view canopy and a taller fin. It was deployed in the very last stage of the war; some examples flew in other countries after the war as well.
Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic and paint the cockpit before closing up the fuselage. Late German fighters had complex mottled camouflage schemes, so an airbrush, a base coat and careful masking pay off. Apply a gloss coat before the decals, and once finished a matte coat and weathering with washes and pigments. Fit the glazing only after painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
