This is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory. The set holds cast resin wheels for models of the German Messerschmitt Bf-110G-4 night fighter in 1:48 scale. It replaces the wheels from the box with more faithful castings with a crisp tread and hub detail. The manufacturer is the Czech brand Eduard.
Resin wheels are usually cast with a loaded tire effect that imitates the rubber settling and flattening slightly under the weight of the machine. The detail of the hubs and sidewalls is crisper than on production plastic parts, so the landing gear, one of the most conspicuous areas of a model, looks more convincing.
Wash the parts in soapy water, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces down with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). After a primer, set the shades of tires and hubs apart; the contact of the tire with the ground can be emphasized with a light dusting of pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
