It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for sharpening the interior and the exterior of a matching plastic model. The set contains fine etched parts that replace or complete simplified plastic components.
Etched parts bring a fineness that plastic cannot reach — thin cockpit elements, instrument panels, belts and small exterior details. The Meteor F.8 was an improved version with a lengthened fuselage, a pair of Derwent 8 engines, an ejection seat and a bubble canopy; in the first half of the 1950s it formed the backbone of British jet fighter aviation and it saw combat in the Korean War as well. Its roomy cockpit gains a great deal from fine photo-etch.
The set is an accessory to the build; on its own it does not make a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
