MG 15 gun (2 pcs) 1:48 (Eduard Brassin) is a set of two resin MG 15 aircraft machine guns for models of German aircraft of the Second World War. It is an accessory with ordnance, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from the Brassin line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds two MG 15 aircraft machine guns in 1:48 scale. The weapons are cast with the fine detail that injection-molded plastic usually will not offer, and they are intended to improve the defensive armament of models. It is not a model - it is an accessory with ordnance.
The MG 15 was a German aircraft machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber, used as a flexible defensive weapon on a number of Luftwaffe aircraft, above all in the early period of the Second World War. It is characteristic for its saddle-type drum magazine. On a model with open gun positions or glazed stations it noticeably raises the fidelity.
Wash the resin parts clean of the mold release agent, carefully cut the thin casting blocks off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. A dark wash over the base paint brings the metallic look out well.
This is an accessory with ordnance, not a model of an airplane in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
