A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the pitot tube (airspeed probe) on the nose of the Soviet MiG-17F jet fighter in 1:48 scale. A faithfully cast and perfectly straight tube takes the place of the simplified, easily bent plastic part from the box. The part is intended for more advanced modelers with resin experience.
The pitot tube is a small but conspicuous detail on the nose that tends to be thick or bent on plastic kits and breaks off easily. A resin casting offers an accurate, straight shape and a fine tip, so the nose looks faithful and technical. Once glued on and painted, you will also appreciate the better stiffness of the part.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
