MiG-21 — wheel set (1:48, Eduard)

A detailed set of landing gear wheels for the Soviet MiG-21 fighter in 1:48 scale from the Brassin range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that replaces the standard wheels from a plastic kit with more faithful castings with sharply rendered tire tread. The set is intended for MiG-21 kits from Eduard. It combines cast resin with further detail parts; check the exact contents of the box against the manufacturer's part number for this item.

Use

• Replacing the landing gear wheels on a MiG-21 plastic kit in 1:48 scale
• Faithful tire tread and fine detail on the hubs compared with the standard parts
• The parts are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) after the casting blocks are cut off
• Well suited to being brought out with a wash and to shading of the contact patches

Who the set is for

For modelers building a MiG-21 in 1:48 scale who want to raise the detail of the landing gear above the level of the standard kit.

This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
