A set of resin landing lights for the Soviet MiG-21 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part that will replace the simplified or missing landing lights from the base kit, not a standalone airplane model.
The MiG-21 was a Soviet single-engine supersonic fighter with a delta wing, one of the most widespread and longest-used jet fighters of the Cold War. It was built in many versions and served in dozens of countries. The landing lights are among the small but clearly visible details of the airframe.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. Once the base is painted, the face of the light can be brought out with gloss varnish or a drop of clear varnish so that it looks like the glass of a reflector; check the position dry before gluing.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
