A detail set from the maker Quickboost. It is not a model but an accessory for models of the MiG-21bis fighter in 1:48 scale. It holds a resin nose radome in a shape-corrected form.
The set replaces the nose antenna cover, whose shape tends to be simplified or inaccurate on plastic kits. A more faithful geometry of the nose improves the overall silhouette of the model, which is well noticeable on the MiG-21.
Wash the mold release agent off the part and cut the casting block off. Try the fit to the fuselage dry and, if needed, level it with filler and sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The basic model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
