A premium edition of the injection-molded kit of the legendary MiG-21PF supersonic fighter in 1:48 scale from Wolfpack. Higher-level accessories are packed in with the plastic parts: a 3D-printed ejection seat, color photo-etched parts and masks for the glazing and the wheels. Decals for three marking options are included.
The MiG-21PF was one of the first production machines of the second MiG-21 generation with an all-weather capability. Its characteristic feature is the enlarged dorsal spine behind the cockpit, which held more fuel, and the frameless canopy. The type went on to see wide service with the air forces of a number of countries.
Glue the plastic with thin cement, and glue the 3D-printed seat and the color photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The masks included make it easier to spray the glazing cleanly. We recommend a primer coat, an airbrush for the metallic and camouflage finishes, a gloss varnish under the decals and a final matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
