Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin cooling air scoops, that is small intakes for cooling the onboard equipment, for the Soviet fighter MiG-21PFM in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part that replaces the simplified or missing scoops from the base kit, not an aircraft model.
The MiG-21 was a Soviet single-engine supersonic fighter with a delta wing, one of the most widespread jet fighters of the Cold War. The PFM version was among the early reworked variants with a number of small extraction and cooling intakes on the fuselage, whose shape and position are characteristic for identifying the type.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them free of mold release agent, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Protect your airways when sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. Offer the small scoops up dry against the fuselage before gluing and check the position; once painted, blend them into the shade of the airframe.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
