This is NOT a kit or an airframe part. It is a resin casting of the TS-21 ground turbo starter from the Czech manufacturer Aires in 1:48 scale. The turbo starter was a mobile starting unit brought up to an aircraft to spin its engine up for start. A model of the unit is an ideal backdrop for a MiG-23 fighter model on its stand and brings an airfield scene or a diorama to life.
The accessory is not an aircraft in itself but ground equipment. Placed beside a MiG-23 model it fills in the real life of an airfield and gives the scene a story. It also works as a standalone detail in a diorama on the theme of Soviet and allied aircraft.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue; protect your airways when sanding. The unit comes to life with painting and weathering (washes, dust, grime), because ground equipment tends to be markedly worn.
The set is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
