This extensive resin set (Big set) from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog serves to refine a model of the MiG-29 fighter in the early 9-12 version (Fulcrum-A) in 1:48 scale comprehensively. A Big set usually brings several detail subassemblies together in one package, so you raise a model to a markedly higher standard. It is not a kit of the whole aircraft but a detail set for your base model.
The MiG-29 in the 9-12 version is the basic production form of the Soviet twin-engine frontal fighter of the 1980s, easily recognizable by its dorsal spine and large wing roots. The machine was designed for air superiority over the battlefield and spread to a number of air forces.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and wet-sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint and weather the interior and engine parts before closing them up, because they will be hard to reach later.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
