A photo-etched brass set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a modeling accessory: a set of exterior details such as covers, grilles, sensors, faces and fine panels, which refine the surface of the model and add faithful detail beyond the plastic parts.
The MiG-29 is a Soviet twin-engine fourth-generation fighter with very good agility. The 9-13 standard, with the NATO code name Fulcrum-C, is marked by a characteristic dorsal hump with a larger fuel load and by wider equipment than the original versions.
Separate the photo-etched brass parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife, form the bends in a bending tool or with a ruler and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Clean the surfaces before gluing and roughen them lightly for better grip. Glue the small photo-etched parts on only once the model is basically assembled, so that they meet the surface panels exactly.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
