This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, that is, a modeling accessory and not a kit in its own right. The set is aimed at the interior and is intended for models of the Soviet and Russian MiG-29A Fulcrum fighter in 1:48 scale. It brings fine photo-etched parts for the cockpit area — instrument panels, side consoles and other details that replace coarser plastic components.
The Mikoyan MiG-29 Fulcrum is a twin-engine fourth-generation frontline fighter developed for the Soviet Air Force as an answer to Western machines. It stands out for its agility and its characteristic silhouette with twin fins.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife and shape the folds with a bending tool. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) in a small quantity. The color parts simply need settling into the cockpit; paint the bare photo-etched components according to where they go. Finish the interior before you close up the fuselage, and test the fit dry.
This is a detail accessory for plastic models, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
