This is not an aircraft kit, but an aftermarket detail set. A precisely cast resin VISh-22E propeller with corrected blades and a spinner replaces the plastic propeller from the base kit and looks truer. The set is made for models of the Soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 fighter in 1:48 scale.
The MiG-3 was a Soviet fighter of the early Second World War, optimized for performance at high altitude. At height it reached good speeds, but lower down it was less agile and more demanding to fly. It was committed above all in the defensive battles of 1941 and in the role of a high-altitude interceptor.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The propeller is easy to use even for less experienced builders; give the surface a coat of primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and serves to improve the base kit, which it does not include.
