This is an add-on resin set, not a kit of a whole aircraft. It holds finely cast replacement landing gear wheels for models of the Soviet and Russian Mikoyan MiG-31 interceptor in 1:48 scale. The wheels are more sharply done than the plastic parts, with a convincing tire tread and detailed hubs, and they raise the realism of the landing gear.
The Mikoyan MiG-31 is a heavy supersonic interceptor with a two-man crew and a powerful radar, meant to destroy targets at long range and at high altitude. It is among the fastest combat aircraft in its class.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash the mold release agent off them and glue them with super glue. Spray the wheels separately, even the tires out in a dark shade and set the hubs apart. Fine dusting and a wash will bring out the shape of the tread.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
