1:48 Mig-31BM. w/KH-47M2 Advanced kabuki masks

Spray masks MiG-31BM with the Kh-47M2 1:48 – New Ware (Advanced)

A set of precisely die-cut kabuki masks from the New Ware brand for building a model of the MiG-31BM Foxhound heavy interceptor with an underslung Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile in 1:48 scale. Kabuki is a thin self-adhesive tape of Japanese washi paper that follows the shapes of the glazing frames perfectly, adheres without bubbles and leaves no adhesive behind once peeled off. The Advanced edition contains masks for the cockpit including the seals and the frames and for the wheel discs, so that a clean color transition appears with no drawing round by hand with tape.

Use

• Stick the masks on with tweezers exactly onto the frames and the seals of the glazing.
• Apply the color of the frame and the seal in the right order of coats.
• Mask the wheels, spray the hubs and take the mask off once the paint has become tacky.
• Spray in thin coats and peel the masks off while the paint is still flexible.

Who the set is for

For modelers of the large MiG-31BM who want accurate frames on its extensive cockpit and clean wheel hubs without lengthy masking with tape.

The set contains spray masks only. The model, paints, missiles and glue are not included in the package.
