The Eduard 1:48 Mikoyan MiG-35 TFace version masks the glazing of a model from the outside and from the inner side alike.

The TFace epithet means that the set is prepared for the outer and the inner surface of the glazing. The inner side of the framing can therefore be sprayed in the cockpit shade before the fuselage is closed up, and the outside then in the color of the upper surfaces. The set comes from the Eduard brand and is worked up in 1:48 scale. The plastic model itself is sold separately.
The MiG-35 follows on from the MiG-29M and MiG-29M2 modernization line and differs from the older Fulcrums above all in its equipment. It received a digital flight control system, new avionics and a wider range of external stores. It is built in a version for a single pilot and with a crew of two for training and more demanding combat tasks. There are two engines and they sit side by side in the rear part of the fuselage.
The order is essential: the inner shapes are placed first, before the cockpit drops into the fuselage. The outside comes only after the interior has been sprayed. Let the paint dry thoroughly between the two stages, otherwise the texture of the masking will be imprinted into the inner layer. After lifting them off, inspect the edges of the framing against the light and retouch any small shortcomings with a fine brush.
