The set from the manufacturer Metallic Details holds two finely rendered seats together with restraint belts for a model of the Soviet attack helicopter Mil Mi-24D in 1:48 scale. The parts are made as fine resin or 3D-printed elements with markedly higher detail than injection-molded plastic offers. It is not a kit of the helicopter but an accessory for raising the fidelity of the cockpit.
The Mil Mi-24, with the NATO code name Hind, is a Soviet attack helicopter combining firepower with the ability to carry troops. The Mi-24D version had a reworked nose with separate cockpits for the pilot and the gunner, so well-made seats and belts are visible in both of them.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks or print supports. Glue the seats with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and shape the belts with tweezers into a natural sag. Protect your airways while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
