An add-on detail set from the Czech maker Eduard intended to improve a plastic model of the Mil Mi-35M attack helicopter in 1:48 scale. Note that this is not a helicopter kit but a set of fine accessories that are installed into a separately bought base model. The set adds details that injection-molded plastic cannot capture faithfully.
The Mil Mi-35M is the upgraded export version of the proven Mi-24 attack helicopter. It is marked by new avionics for day and night operations, shortened stub wings, a fixed landing gear and an upgraded weapon system. It serves to destroy ground targets, to support ground units and to carry troops.
Photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife on a hard surface and glued with cyanoacrylate or with a special glue for photo-etched parts. Pre-printed color elements, where they are included, are not overpainted. It is a good idea to degrease the parts before installation. Working with fine photo-etched parts calls for tweezers and patience.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
