The last of the four national variants of this pose that the manufacturer carries alongside one another. The Mirage 2000 reached a number of users outside its country of origin, and Taiwan is among those that acquired the upgraded 2000-5 form in the second half of the 1990s, in single-seat and two-seat versions alike. The differences between the individual deliveries concern mainly the avionics and the equipment, while the external shape of the airframe stays essentially the same.
Seated, a figure is most demanding as to the correct angle of the torso. If it sits too upright, the head strikes the canopy frame; if it leans back too far, it disappears below the edge. Always start with a dry fit, therefore, and only then reach for the glue. When painting, go for a more pronounced difference between the clothing and the harness, and remember that in the dimness of a cockpit the saturation of the shades is visually lost.
