A resin detail set in 1:48 scale replaces or sharpens up the landing gear bays of a plastic model of the Dassault Mirage IIIC fighter aircraft. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a kit you already own. The finely cast bays markedly raise the realism of the underside of the airframe.
The Dassault Mirage IIIC was a French supersonic fighter aircraft with a characteristic delta wing. It served from the end of the 1950s and became the basis of the whole successful Mirage III family, operated by a number of countries. It stood out for its simplicity and high speed.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up. Glue the bays in before you close the fuselage or the lower panels, so that they sit into the structure. Bond with super glue, and do the sanding with respiratory protection. The inside of the bays is usually picked out well by a fine wash.
This is a resin add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
