Masking stencils for spraying the national insignia on a model of the Japanese carrier fighter Mitsubishi A6M in 1:48 scale, in the version for machines from Nakajima production.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of masking stencils with the help of which the national insignia of the Japanese carrier fighter Mitsubishi A6M arise directly in paint. The shape and the size are cut for 1:48 scale, so you do not have to cut anything out from a drawing or measure it out on the wing. The item is listed in the version for machines from the licensed production of the Nakajima works; besides the parent Mitsubishi factory, it was precisely Nakajima that built these fighters, and in large numbers.
A sprayed marking is part of the layer of paint, whereas a decal lies on a carrier film, which has a sheen of its own and gives itself away on a matte surface by its outline and a slight step. A marking created in paint can be weathered, sanded over and oversprayed with matte varnish without concern, and there is no risk of the carrier film yellowing or peeling off after years. On the large surfaces of a wing the difference is visible at first glance.
For modelers who want the markings sharp and level with the surrounding paint, and for anyone who weathers a model heavily. The box holds masking stencils. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
