A detail set of the LooK line from the Czech maker Eduard, meant for models of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It holds a pre-painted 3D instrument panel with faithful relief of the instruments and a set of colored photo-etched seat belts. It is a quick way to lift cockpit detail markedly without painting the dials by hand.

What the set is for

The instrument panel of the LooK line is printed in relief and in color, so once it is set into the cockpit it looks realistic straight away. The colored etched belts complete the seat and bring the cockpit to a faithful state. The set does away with laborious painting of small details and is meant for a particular Zero model.

Use

• Separate the 3D instrument panel carefully from its backing and set it into the cockpit.
• Shape the etched belts with tweezers and set them on the seat.
• The details can be fixed lightly with matte varnish to even everything out.
• Work with a sharp knife and fine tweezers.
