1:48 Mosquito B Mk.IV / PR Mk.IV TFace is a set of pre-cut painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a de Havilland Mosquito model in 1:48 scale. The TFace designation means that the set covers the glazing from the outside and from the inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pre-cut masks for covering the glazing while painting a de Havilland Mosquito model in the B Mk.IV and PR Mk.IV versions in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit or spare parts but an add-on for painting: the cockpit frames come out crisp and straight even without cutting tape by hand. The TFace abbreviation in the name designates at Eduard the version that masks the glazing from both sides, that is from inside the cockpit as well. That suits every case where the inside of the frames is visible through the clear parts.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine machine of mixed construction with a high proportion of wood. The B Mk.IV version was the bomber, the PR Mk.IV was the reconnaissance conversion fitted with photographic equipment. Both have a glazed forward fuselage and plenty of divided frames, so masking is more laborious on them than on the fighter variants.
This is an add-on to a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
