1:48 Nakajima Ki-84, a closed cockpit canopy with masks gives a model of the Hayate fighter a smooth line of the spine and clean glazing frames.
Responsibility details are not available.
In the package you will find an accessory, not a whole machine; it is aimed exclusively at the glazing. The form matches the cockpit in the closed position, which is useful if you want to build the model in a flight configuration with a smooth line of the spine.
The Nakajima Ki-84 was among the most capable Japanese fighters of the Second World War. A strong radial engine gave it speed and a rate of climb comparable with contemporary American types, and unlike older Japanese machines it received armor and protected tanks. The weak point was not the design but the manufacture and the fuel. The quality of the parts fell at the close of the war and the machines often did not reach the values measured on the prototypes. The Japanese name Hayate means a gale; the Allied code designation was Frank.
Modelers who build Japanese fighters of the late war and prefer a flight position with no uncovered cockpit. Suitable for a model placed on a stand as well. Modelers whose production clear part was bent or clouded during the separation of the molding will reach for it too.
