P-51D-5 Mustang exhaust stacks 1:48 (Eduard)

This is not a model of an aircraft but a detailing add-on - a resin set of exhaust stacks from the manufacturer Eduard in the Brassin line. The set replaces the plastic exhausts in the kit of the P-51D-5 Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale with more faithfully rendered castings with fine relief and open outlets.

What the set is for

• It replaces the plastic exhaust stacks with crisply cast resin parts.
• It adds realistic detail to the engine section of the model.
• It is prepared for easy fitting in place of the original parts.

Usage tips

First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). When sanding resin, protect your breathing. The exhausts come out well once painted in metallic and burnt shades with a final accent of soot.
