This resin detail set brings a more accurately cast seat for the cockpit of the Albatros D.III fighter biplane in the Austro-Hungarian Oeffag license version. It is meant as an improvement for models of the Oeffag D.III in 1:48 scale and is supplied as a separate addition, not as an aircraft kit.
The Oeffag D.III was the license version of the German Albatros D.III fighter biplane, built during the First World War at the Austro-Hungarian Oeffag works. Compared with the original machine it brought a number of changes and was regarded as highly successful. The seat in the open cockpit is a clearly visible feature.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, cut it off the casting block and sand the mating surface with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The seat shows at its best after painting and gentle highlighting of the wooden or leather surfaces.
The addition is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
