The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was an American twin-engine fighter with a characteristic twin-boom layout, put into action in the Second World War. The resin wheels capture the tread pattern of the casing and the details of the hub faithfully; the tires tend to be shown slightly loaded, which raises the realism of a standing model.
Wash the wheels clean of the remains of the mold release agent and carefully separate them from the casting block. Glue the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A masking film for separating the tire from the hub usually belongs to the set and makes clean painting easier. Lay a primer on first.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
