An Eduard cockpit detail set from the LööK range for models of the Lockheed P-38G Lightning fighter in 1:48 scale. It contains a finished instrument panel, colored at the factory, with a realistic glass effect on the dials, and pre-painted steel (STEEL) seat belts. The set replaces the plastic parts from the model and adds detail without laborious painting by hand.
The color panel is ready to be glued straight in and looks more convincing than a plastic part with a decal. The metal belts have a real thickness and can be reshaped into a lifelike form, so the cockpit stands up to inspection even with the canopy open.
Separate the parts and degrease them. Glue the color panel in spots with cyanoacrylate glue or with a small amount of clear glue, so that the printing is not smeared. Shape the metal belts with tweezers and fix them with cyanoacrylate glue.
This is a detail accessory, not an airplane kit. The model itself is not included in the package.
