1:48 P-38J Lightning EXPERT kabuki masks for Tamiya

New Ware 1:48 P-38J Lightning EXPERT, a masking set

This is not a kit but an extended (EXPERT) set of die-cut masks in kabuki tape. Against the basic set it adds a wider range of masks, typically the cockpit frames including the inner side and further areas of a model of the American twin-boom P-38J Lightning fighter in 1:48 scale, and it aims at the cleanest possible result. The masks are cut for the Tamiya kit.

Use

• Lift the masks with tweezers and apply them to degreased glazing and other areas.
• Press the edges down thoroughly so that paint does not creep under them.
• Spray with an airbrush in thin coats and peel the masks off once the paint is dry.
• Kabuki tape follows curves well and leaves no adhesive residue.

Who the set is for

For modelers building the P-38J in 1:48 scale who want a precisely sprayed cockpit and further parts without laborious masking by hand.

The set does not contain the model, paints or glue. It serves only as a masking aid.
