A resin detail set, not a kit. This universal set contains clear position (navigation) lights and anti-collision beacons in 1:48 scale. It is not a part for one particular aircraft – it is a supply of small transparent features with which you can replace coarsely molded or merely painted lights on the wings, the tail and the fuselage of aircraft models.
Real aircraft carry a red and a green position light at the wingtips, a white one on the tail and flashing anti-collision beacons on the fuselage. On a model these are small things, but seen from close up they markedly raise the credibility. The transparent castings can be undercoated with silver or chrome paint and given a drop of clear colored varnish on top for the effect of a lit bulb.
