An Eduard photo-etched set for a model of the PV-1 Ventura aircraft in 1:48 scale. An accessory for a finished kit that adds details in a thickness injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lockheed PV-1 Ventura is a twin-engine patrol and bomber aircraft of American origin, derived from the Lodestar airliner line. In the Second World War it served chiefly with the US Navy and with Allied air forces, where it carried out maritime patrol, anti-submarine work and light bombing. Thanks to its service with several countries it lends itself to a varied range of coloring and markings.
Photo-etched parts for a PV-1 model in 1:48 scale. The exact contents of the fret, the placement of the individual parts and the kit the set is prepared for are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Photo-etched parts suit everywhere a part should be thin and sharp, so they go well with other accessories and with work of your own on the kit.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp blade on a hard surface so that they do not bend. Make the bends along the scored lines, best in a bending tool or between the jaws of flat tweezers. They are bonded with super glue, which you apply in a small amount on the tip of a toothpick. Wash and degrease the surfaces before painting and use a base color suitable for metal, or the coat will not hold on the smooth surface.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
