The Hauler 1:48 Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. M late production conversion set is a resin rebuild of a model into the late variant of the German medium tank. It is an accessory for a kit, not a kit in its own right.

A resin set from the Czech maker Hauler in 1:48 scale which modifies the model of the German medium tank into the late production form of the Ausf. M version. The set is cut for a specific Tamiya kit; the model itself is not included in the package.
The Ausf. M was one of the last versions of the Pz.Kpfw. III and carried a 5 cm gun with a long barrel. During production the details changed that make the identifying marks of the later vehicles: changes to the exhaust system, differently arranged hatches and vision ports and, above all, the Schürzen side armor skirts on the hull and the turret. It is the Schürzen that change the silhouette of the tank most - they turn an angular machine into an almost solid block, and for a model they are at the same time the most rewarding detail, because wear and missing pieces show up nicely on them.
First lay the whole set out and compare it with the parts of the kit, so that you know what will not be used. Wash the resin free of release agent with warm water and detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the surfaces on abrasive paper. It is bonded with super glue, ideally the gel version, which gives you time to line the parts up. Pay attention to the thin panels when seating them, because a lack of parallelism is visible on a finished model from a meter away. If you add photo-etched brackets to the set, glue them on only after the primer has been sprayed. The weathering of late vehicles will take a lot: dust in the lower areas, mud splashes on the running gear and worn places on the edges.
This is a conversion accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
