An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish PZL.23B Karas light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby. This edition is aimed at the deployment of the aircraft during the campaign of 1939. The set captures the characteristic look of this prewar Polish machine.
The PZL.23B Karas was a Polish single-engined light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft with a fixed landing gear. During the defensive campaign of September 1939 it was among the main combat types of the Polish Air Force and was deployed to attack advancing ground units. Despite its aging design it played an important role in the first days of the war.
Paint the cockpit and the interior before closing up the fuselage. Use thin cement for plastic, and fill and sand the fine joints. Apply the Polish camouflage with an airbrush, bring out the panel lines with a panel liner and even the surface out with a matte clear coat to match the period look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
