An accessory set for a model in 1:48 scale with the Soviet R-40TD air-to-air guided missile as its subject, given the NATO designation AA-6. The extent of the package is stated in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The R-40 is a Soviet long-range air-to-air guided missile carried by MiG-25 interceptors. It was one of the largest missiles of its kind; on a pylon under the wing it is impossible to miss and it gives a model both scale and character. In the West the designation AA-6 came into use for it, and it appears in the name of the item as well; the letters after the number distinguish the individual forms, which differed in their method of guidance.
This is an accessory for aircraft models in 1:48 scale. How many pieces the package contains and whether pylons are included is stated on the packaging and in the manufacturer's instructions. Go through the extent of the set according to them before the build, so that you know how many missiles you will fit to the model.
The parts are not polystyrene and ordinary cement for plastic does not work on them; use cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the remainder carefully so that the shape of the missile is not cut into. Wash and degrease the parts before painting and apply a base color, otherwise the layer will not hold on the smooth surface. The placement on the pylon and other details of the build are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
This is an accessory for building a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
