A detailed resin and 3D-printed set from Reskit intended for kits of the Dassault Rafale fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of large external RPL 741 drop tanks with a capacity of 2000 liters. The set replaces or supplements the tanks from the original kit with a more faithful rendering and is intended for more experienced modelers.
It adds precisely shaped large-capacity RPL 741 tanks to the model, the ones the Rafale carries for long-range flights. The 3D-printed rendering faithfully captures the shape as well as the fine surface detail. Do not confuse the larger tank of 2000 liters with the smaller RPL 701 type (1250 liters), which Reskit offers separately.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, separate them from the supports and dry-fit them onto the relevant pylons. Bond only with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection, then apply a primer and the paints according to the scheme of the aircraft.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
