1:48 Romeo Ro-37/Ro-37bis canopy airbrush mask

IMAM Ro.37/Ro.37bis painting masks for the glazing 1:48 (MH models)

A set of airbrush masks from MH models for a model of the Italian IMAM Ro.37 reconnaissance and observation aircraft and its Ro.37bis version in 1:48 scale. This is not an airplane model but an accessory that makes accurate masking of the cockpit and the glazing easier while spraying. The masks are pre-cut from a self-adhesive masking film and they follow the shape of the framing.

The real subject

The IMAM Ro.37 was an Italian two-seat reconnaissance biplane of the 1930s used for observation and for cooperation with ground units; the Ro.37bis version differed in its engine. The masks respect the glazing layout of this type.

Use

• Stick the pre-cut pieces onto the glazing and the canopy framing
• Spray the paint with an airbrush or from a spray can, with nothing seeping under the edge
• Peel the masks off once the paint has dried to reveal cleanly outlined areas

Who the set is for

The accessory will appeal to builders of the IMAM Ro.37 in 1:48 scale who want to reach sharp paint transitions and to save the time spent outlining the frames by hand.

This is a painting aid, not a model in its own right. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
